If Bobcat Goldthwait had a time machine, he says he’d travel back to the ’80s and offer his 22-year-old self this warning: “Don’t do Police Academy.” Seattle PI reporter Christine Champ recently met up with him to to discuss his new amour and his latest release, World’s Greatest Dad, both a wickedly witty ode to outsiders, and a Heathers-esque satire about narcissism that stars Robin Williams. Read the article for truths most audiences never knew about Goldthwait, such as why Woody Allen is his moviemaker soul mate, his opinion of his acting, his plans for a Kinks musical, as well as a G-rated fable based on his boyhood and more. The film, shot in Seattle, opens in theatres today.
