The Seattle Film + Music Blog is your source for the latest news in the local film, music, and digital media industries. A spin-off from our popular weekly newsletter, this blog aims to provide readers with every notable media mention of Seattle bands, filmmakers, and other industry movers and shakers. We scan dozens of local, national, and international press sources to bring you the best and latest in industry news.
We’re not looking for item submissions, but we do like to feature videos by Seattle artists. If you’re a filmmaker or musician, please send a link to an embeddable video to filmandmusicoffice@seattle.gov. Videos are posted at our discretion.

As a former Film and Music Office intern and updater of the media page, I must say, well done on a lovely blog! It’s shaped up a bit since 2006! Keep up the good work!
