Seattle’s new Hard Rock Cafe, a few steps from Pike Place Market, boasts a treasure of Seattle rock memorabilia and a rooftop deck with one of the best views of any bar in town. The two-story, 14,000-square-foot restaurant located at the corner of First Avenue and Pike Street, which opened to the public last Wednesday, will likely attract heavy foot traffic from tourists and locals alike. Inside, Hard Rock diners have plenty of eye candy to enjoy in the form of local music memorabilia from Hard Rock’s collection — including guitars owned by Kurt Cobain and Eddie Vedder, hand-written notes from Courtney Love and Quincy Jones, and more. “The goal is to make it a fun, interactive experience for music fans,” said Joe Tenczar, Hard Rock’s CIO. “We want to have more than food and drinks, we want people to have fun and walk away having had an experience to go along with their meal.”
