The CREATION Project showcase represents the breadth and excellence of local contemporary performing arts. The showcase is the culmination of this year-long new works and professional development program created by the Central District Forum for Arts & Ideas for Black performing artists based in King County. A local panel selected four participants representing a range of artistic performing arts disciplines. This year’s CREATION Project artists are writer/performer Amontaine Aurore, performance artist Okanomodé (a.k.a. SoulChilde), singer/multimedia artist Cristina Orbé, and poet/vocalist Storme Webber. Be sure to check out the CREATION Project artists performing on Thursday, April 1 at City Hall in a free noontime showcase presented CD Forum with Seattle Presents.
