Today’s NPR Song of the Day is Carissa Wierd’s “The Color That Your Eyes Changed With the Color of Your Hair.” The Seattle band gained a recent resurgence of attention when the formally disbanded group performed for the first time in about seven years. Carissa’s Wierd also released an album appropriately titled They’ll Only Miss You When You Leave: Songs 1996-2003. The group’s members have gone on to perform in such bands as Band of Horses, Grand Archives, S and Sera Cahoone. Congratulations to Carissa’s Wierd!
