Seattle filmmaker and writer John Jeffcoat co-wrote and directed 2006’s Outsourced, which is now serving as inspiration for a new NBC series debuting this fall. The director says he had no idea what he was going to do with his life until he took a trip to Nepal in his junior year of college. This traveling experience ultimately shifted his perspective and focus, leading to the development of Outsourced. KUOW’s Dave Beck speaks with Jeffcoat at the link above about his travels, filmmaking and inspiration.
