“Get Over It” by the Young Evils is NPR’s Song of the Day today. The Seattle-based duo have been topping the charts lately with their catchy pop tunes reminiscent of the 1950s. Writes NPR, “Sounding for all the world like jaded juvenile delinquents on a sugar-fueled joyride, [Troy] Nelson and fellow singer Mackenzie Mercer cruise through their debut album with a mix of snotty indie-rock and vulnerable ’50s doo-wop, with head-turning results.” You can catch these up-and-comers on November 26 at the Crocodile.
