Artists Health Insurance Resource Center
It’s an unfortunate fact that many artists go without health insurance. The task of finding affordable care can seem daunting and confusing. But the Artists Health Insurance Resource Center (AHIRC) is providing you with a free evening of information about getting and keeping health insurance as an artist. Daniel Kitowski, Manager of Artists Health Insurance Resource Center of The Actors Fund, is leading a discussion at the Gibson Guitar Showroom on Monday, November 8 from 6:30-8:00 pm. Topics include finding affordable health insurance; getting health care when you’re uninsured; government-subsidized programs; and understanding health care reform. This event is free and open to the public. For more about AHIRC and/or the upcoming event, be sure to check out the link!
