Sub Pop
A auction to benefit the family of Sub Pop’s late and great Andy Kotowicz, is now open for bidding. Launched in support of Kotowicz’s wife and young daughter, the auction features a diverse array of goodies from the likes of Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Muse, The Rolling Stones, Band of Horses and even Conan O’Brien. Thus far the auction has generated more than $15,000 for newly-launched Andy Kotowicz Family foundation, and bidding will remain open until December 14. Says Sub Pop, “[This is a]testament to the very full life lived by our friend. On behalf of Andy’s family and as part of it, we at Sub Pop Records are deeply grateful.” Don’t forget: A benefit concert with performances from some of the Sub Pop’s brightest stars—Shabazz Palaces, Mudhoney, Wolf Eyes, Vetiver and more—will also be held this Saturday, December 4th at Showbox at the Market.
