Seattle Office of Film + Music

Seattle Weekly
Seattle Weekly posted the article above to highlight Seattle’s Top 10 Hip-Hop Videos of 2010. The list includes everything from Sol’s “Dear Friends” and Dyme Def’s “Do Something” to “ExtraHellaDope” by State of the Artist and “Soothsayer” by Victor Shade. Topping the list is the video for Grynch’s “My Volvo,” directed by Stephan Gray. Gray says the video almost never happened; “’We were planning on shooting a different song for most of the pre-production, and then after two months of planning I get a late-night call from Grynch and he goes, ‘Yo, we’ve gotta do My Volvo,’ said Gray.” To check out the full listing and to watch some of the videos, follow the link.
