2011 Sundance Film Festival
Make way for the Pacific Northwest, Sundance! Four locally-made films and their esteemed filmmakers will journey down to Utah this week to take part in the 2011 Festival: The Off Hours (written and directed by Megan Griffiths), The Catechism Cataclysm (written and directed by Todd Rohal), The Oregonian (written and directed by Lee Reeder) and The Details (directed by Jacob Aaron Estes). The Off Hours will make its world premiere as part of the Sundance Institute’s out-of-competition series,”Next,” which highlights visionary, innovative and original work in low-and no-budget filmmaking. The Details kicks off the Festival’s Premier section, while The Catechism Cataclysm and The Oregonian will feature in “Park City at Midnight,” which is home to horror films and extreme comedies. Congratulations once more to all! For all the Sundance scoop, including information on these featured local films, check out the link above.
