Congratulations to those Seattle musicians who won Grammy Awards last evening. Seattle was well represented and took home two prestigious awards. Them Crooked Vultures, featuring ex-Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl, won for Best Hard Rock Performance. Also, Seattle Symphony Orchestra cellist David Sabee won for Best Engineered Album, Classical. Sabee was one of four engineers on “Porter, Quincy: Complete Viola Works,” which tied for the top spot with “Daugherty: Metropolis Symphony; Deus Ex Machina.” Click the link above to see all the Grammy nominations and winners.
