Sound on the Sound
In our previous Grammy post we forgot to recognize Seattle local Kory Kruckenberg who won a Grammy for “Best Engineered Album, Classical.” Although we will not admit to fallibility, we will say that we left out one of Seattle’s most beloved music makers and masterers. Kory is a Seattle sound engineer and musician who plays bass for Pablo Trucker and is also Pickwick’s vibraphone master. Kory has worked with Seattle bands and musicians in the lab to churn out some amazing tunes such as The Maldives’ Listen to the Thunder, Avians Alight, Pickwick, J. Tillman and Pearly Gate Music. Congratulations on the award and keep up the good work. Check out the Sound on the Sound article on Kory’s achievements in the Seattle music scene.
