One Reel
One Reel, the local non-profit behind some of the Northwest’s biggest arts and cultural events, is looking for a Programming Intern to staff Bumbershoot 2011. This position primarily entails processing performer applications; tracking artist contracts and deliverables; managing logistics including travel accommodations and artist will-call; maintaining promotional materials, and generally providing administrative support to the Bumbershoot Programming Department. This internship also offers a unique, hands-on opportunity to learn about the special events programming process, including the day-to-day, nuts-and-bolts operations involved in booking and artist relations for high-profile festivals. Qualified applicants should have strong organization and communication skills, technical experience and interest in the arts, and must also be up to the physical demands of on-site festival work (i.e. long hours, physical labor, large crowds, etc.) One Reel provides a small stipend to cover food and transportation costs for all internships. Follow the link for more information or to learn how to apply for this position.
