Script Frenzy
Script Frenzy is an international writing event in which participants take on the challenge of writing 100 pages of scripted material in the month of April. Script Frenzy is a place for budding scriptwriters to tackle the screenplay they’ve always been yearning to write. Script Frenzy also has a youth writing component, facilitated through their Young Writers Program. Kids and teens can log on to the YWP website for scriptwriting boot camps, workbooks and expert advice as they write the scripts they’ve got rattling around in their uber-creative brains. Complimentary lesson plans and classroom kits are available to educators to help their students’ scriptwriting progress. As part of a donation-funded nonprofit, Script Frenzy charges no fee to participate; there are also no monetary prizes awarded or “best” scripts singled out. Every writer who completes the goal of 100 pages is victorious and awe-inspiring and will receive a handsome Script Frenzy Winner’s Certificate and web icon proclaiming this fact. Follow the link above and get crackin’ on your own incredible script today.
