NWFF PRESENTS LOCAL FILMMAKER’S “BUMMER SUMMER”

Northwest Film Forum
The Seattle theatrical premiere of Zach Weintraub’s Bummer Summer is this Friday at the Northwest Film Forum. Bummer Summer screened opening night of the 2010 Local Sightings Film Festival last October and went on win first place. The film follows a seventeen year old as he contemplates life after high school and spends a summer road-tripping with his brother, who is home from college. Employing inventive storytelling, sensitive performances and deadpan humor, Weintraub shows he’s a talent to watch with this wry and touching portrait of youthful romance and potential. Zach will be in attendance for the first screening to speak about the film and answer questions. To view the show times and the film’s trailer, click on the link above.
