After a successful three-year run, the non-profit educational organization Music4Life was approved for another three years as a Rotary District Project. Rotary club leaders and other delegates wholeheartedly approved Music4Life’s application for renewal at a Rotary District Conference held in April. Each Rotary District Project is evaluated before approval to ensure it is overwhelmingly beneficial to the district and open for all clubs to participate in. Since 2007, Music4Life has made dedicated efforts to put musical instruments in good playing condition into the hands of children and youth who aspire to play music. The organization also supplies schools with instruction, materials and support (like instrument maintenance) to enhance instrumental music programs. Music4Life also announced the addition of Highline Public Schools to the areas supported by the program.
