The Capitol Hill Pride Festival 2010 on Broadway is a five block festival between E. John and Roy St. on Broadway celebrating diversity and community Pride and featuring three public stages and over 200 Booths and Vendors! The festival will take place Saturday June 26, 2010 from 10am-10pm. With live Entertainment, Music, Singing, Doggie Drag Costume Contest, and Face / Body Painting, the festival is expanding three more blocks North on Broadway and is now between E. LADY ARTISTS: SUBMIT TO THE 2ND ANNUAL ISIS WOMEN’S FESTIVAL

The 2nd Annual ISIS: Women Arts Festival, Seattle’s only all-female, arts-centered, community-building event, is searching for more grassroots female artists of all mediums and styles to contribute to the event on May 1st, 2010. This festival honors SWAN Day, or Support Women Artists Now Day, an international holiday started by the WomenArts organization. Sponsored by Steel Grace Dance/Jah Breeze Rhythms and the UW Ethnic Cultural Center, the goal of ISIS is to create a network of grassroots female artists and art-lovers of all walks of life to encourage and support one another. We are especially interested in women and female children who are working in spoken word/literary arts, theater/drama, and video/film, but all mediums are welcome. The deadline to apply is April 10. Go Daddy is inviting you to produce your own Go Daddy commercial for huge cash prizes! Year after year, Go Daddy has entertained Super Bowl viewers with its fun, edgy and slightly inappropriate TV ads. The polarizing commercials often attract criticism, but have been wildly successful with the public. They’ve played a major part in making Go Daddy.com a household name as well as the world’s largest domain registrar. The top prize is $100,000 in cash, with second and third place winners of $50,000 and $25,000 respectively. Other prizes include a Dell Alienware Area 51 desktop and the highly anticipated M11X laptops, provided by Dell, along with camcorders, software and other items. Contest commercials don’t need to be professionally produced, but ad professionals are eligible. Ads must be between 15 and 30 seconds in length. Creativity is encouraged, so get out your camcorder, recruit your friends, have some fun and show us what you’ve got.
