The Medieval Women’s Choir, one of the few choirs in the United States specializing in medieval music, seeks an Administrator. This one-third time position works closely with the artistic director and the Board of Directors. Responsibilities include: bookkeeping and financial management, ticketing and box office, concert production and artist management, donor relations, grant-writing support, choir enrollment, vendor relationships, volunteer recruitment and management. Interest in choral and/or early music, experience in publicity and marketing, and familiarity with social media are highly desirable. Position works from home and hours are flexible and variable. CAROLS, KLEZMER WIND UP SEATTLE PRESENTS’ 2009 FREE LUNCHTIME CONCERT SERIES

The free lunchtime concert series wraps up this week. This Tuesday, the Medieval Women’s Choir sings Spanish and Italian holiday selections from noon to 1 p.m at the Seattle Municipal Tower. On Thursday, the Klez Kats offer “joyous klezmer, lilting waltzes, mysterious gypsy and Middle Eastern music influenced by Jewish tradition and culture,” from noon to 1 p.m. at Seattle City Hall. The series resumes with a luau Jan. 7, featuring Hawaiian ukulele star Taimane and local ukeleleist Del Rey.
