WashingtonFilmWorks is a not-for-profit 501 (c) (6) organization that offers funding assistance to commercials, television and feature films shooting in Washington State. The organization is seeking an Accounting Manager to be responsible for day-to-day fiscal operations and to oversee the organization’s audit and review process for all qualified motion picture productions. WFW Oscar Pool Winner Announced

WashingtonFilmWorks congratulates Gabe Koutlas, the winner of the first annual WashingtonFilmWorks’ Oscar pool! As the winner, Gabe has chosen to the donate the $700 to Independent Feature Project/Seattle, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to fostering a more sustainable infrastructure that supports independent filmmaking. When asked why he chose IFP/Seattle Gabe said, “After seeing Slumdog Millionaire sweep the Oscars I realized that you don’t have to have huge Hollywood budget to make a great movie.
